MARCH to the Beat of Your Own Drum: 5 New Things to Try to Conquer a New Month
Invest in yourself:
Try a new workout class
Namaste and find your center by testing out a new type of yoga class, pilates workout, barre class, group workout session, or test out the new gym near you. Expand your horizons and do something outside of your usual routine.
Take a friend, grab a happy hour cocktail afterwards, sit down to a yummy brunch, or grab a tasty smoothie or coffee afterwards - you can’t go wrong with stepping outside of your comfort zone and trying something once.
Join a book club
If you are looking for a reason to get together with friends and have a group to hold you accountable, book clubs are the perfect recoccuring event to get to know new people, immerse yourself in some new content, and have interesting conversations on topics you haven’t explored before.
Pamper yourself
If you need a little extra self-love and self-care this month - set aside an hour to treat yourself. Here are just a few ideas: massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, foot scrub, sauna, cryotherapy, or anything else that allows you to take some time out of your busy life to slow down your fast-paced life to take some deep breaths.
Take a class to learn something new
As winter is beginning to fall away and spring is almost here, take this time to educate yourself or entertain yourself in meaningful ways. Thank goodness for Google because it is the perfect resource to turn to when you are wanting to find things in your area that are worth trying. Here are some ideas to spark some inspiration:
Art class - painting, pottery, drawing, theater, improv, splatter painting

Candle making
Cake decorating
Finance class

Start a journal
If you need a few minutes of piece and quiet to start and end your day in reflection, buy yourself a journal and use it as a way to keep track of your feelings, fun things you experienced, things you learned, things you want to accomplish, and look back on the day as you clear your head in preparation for a night of restful sleep.
